Howard Johnson University Inn - Sdsu - San Diego State University

Clean place, good service, amicable staff. Extremely comfy beds, cosy rooms - we loved it. The breakfast was above average with lots of great food on offer. Central setting of the hotel.

Honest personnel was always available with our requests, incredible service. It was located in a vibrant area near restaurants as well as stores.

Room was common with lovely bed and staff were flexible.

Hotel was well priced. An awesome choice while travelling to San Diego. And it also had excellent view. Particularly helpful, unobtrusive staff and heated swimming pool.

overall, the place is low budget, good enough for me. professional staff, clean pool.

I had a pleasant overnight stay at this sufficient hotel. Perfect location, DECENT service and delightful food. The room was carpeted and adequate with functional bathroom and splendid views. You could walk to the shops and several stores. Gorgeous garden and lovely pool area.

Wi-Fi was bad, made me a little nervous.

The breakfast was abundant and the location was fab! Staff was flawless, and the service was efficient.

Warm room with cozy bed, genuinely helpful staff, very good internet. The boxed breakfast was gorgeous, I appreciated the food. With quick check-in and simple check-out, this hotel was practical.

Disappointing aspect was dark bathroom.

Location and service are all wonderful, yet the hotel itself is quite dirty.

A lovely place to stay when in San Diego. Beautiful and non smoking rooms, plus the staff is exceptionally nice. Ideal location in the secure area.

Came in San Diego to relax and have fun, this hotel was enjoyable base for doing it. Worth its 2 stars...

It's good value. Bed was comfy & staff was helpful. There's plenty of restaurants to choose from, like milo's pizza & subs, set within 10 minutes walk or so;))
